My first post of the year: I start with showing you the new porcelain collection I have made. Nothing new about the technical aspects: All pieces are handthrown. I want to go on with porcelain tableware this year and soon I will present new works. As you probably realized, I change the material and work with both, stoneware and porcelain – I cannot decide for one only. When I started my own pottery I was stressed by this because I forced myself to working with only one material. But I was not able to keep this up….In the last years I accepted that this is my nature and that I need the variety in my life. I will show you the results during the next months…Do you remember? I told about an old house from the 16h century I bought in the South of Switzerland? I will renovate it this year and I will open my mountain studio and a gallery there. The photo of the porcelain tableware is made in this house, it has a wooden room with a very special atmosphere that I like a lot.
