Another formstudy and the end of a busy week – I have thrown fifty bowls and plates with different clay sorts and I am very curious how they will come out of the kiln next week. It was a hard work because I was using clay with little hard pieces in it and my hands are now totally hurt…. But I hope it was worth it and I can soon show you all the finished bowls and plates. Yes, I make a lot of bowls, plates and cups and I love to do this – but sometimes I make something else with clay like this big chicken. I called it ‘queen of the night’ and this black clay queen is now somewhere at the lake geneva where the collector that bought it lives. I made seven of them, all different and unfortunately I forgot to take pictures.
