Be careful! Me- last week – with a fresh black porcelain bowl that has to dry now. One of the black ones: When they are trimmed they are very delicate and I have to ‚handle with care‘. This pic also shows one of these porcelain bowls – a medium size one – I am preparing for a design event here in Zurich, called ‚blickfang’. After thirteen-years break I will be part of it again this year: November 10, 11 and 12 at stage one in Zurich/Oerlikon. What a light! It is so great to start into the week which such a beautiful sunshine, here it falls on one of my white porcelain bowls! Do you notice the translucent parts on the surface? These are the thinnest parts of the bowl, only a ‚breeze‘ of material! As I already wrote: I am quite busy at the moment and I am working on different projects. My nights are short. This pic shows one of the porcelain bowls – a medium size one – I am preparing for a design event here in Zurich, called ‚blickfang’. After thirteen-years break I will be part of it again this year: November 10, 11 and 12 this event takes part and I have still a lot to do. I will present lots of porcelain bowls in different sizes – my favourite works of all. I love throwing but even more than tht I love trimming. I forget time during the trimming process and that is unique for me and the best that can happen! I am preparing around twenty bowls and I am a bit nervous about it because I never know how many pieces will come out of the kiln safe and healthy… Fingers crossed!
