It is after midnight here in Zurich and I should better sleep than dream of my coffee from tomorrow morning….two brown coffee cups of my tableware collection ‚pur‘ – cups, bowls, plates in different sizes and in four colors. All pieces hand thrown from stoneware, coated with craquele glazes. And here they are – at least a part of them: After many hours of work, I could sand all the bottoms and put them@all together. Tableware pieces for a party of sixteen: My stoneware collection ‚PUR’, launched in 2006. Hand thrown stoneware, coated with four different craquele celadon glazes. On this photo: Plates – diameter of 30 cm- and quite big cups – diameter of 12 cm, special wish – for coffee or tea. Soon, all pieces will left to their new home. And now some brown stoneware bowls as a contrast to all the white porcelain pieces that I showed in the last days: I love both, the work with stoneware and the work with porcelain. It is a very different handling and also the result is different.
