One of the details in my ‘new’ house that I started to renovate: It is a very old building from 1589 and it is on the south side of Sitzerland. Some of the walls are black from the smoke of the open fires, I really love it! Two monks were living there more than four hundred years ago and next year it is me who will live and work there with my pottery, at least part time.

Done! All 68 teabowls are trimmed and in about four days they will be ready for the bisquit firing. It was quite a lot of throwing……I worked with four different stoneware clays and with a white and black porcelain: I am very very curious especially about the result from the black porcelain because it is the first time I am working with. We tried a lot of settings to take a picture of some of my plates and bowls in different sizes and colors – and in the end I took the big bowl with this beautiful plant in it : Now it seems to be a tableware mountain! I like it because we have a lot of mountains in Switzerland. Okay, I will show the details about glaze and colors in the future …. maybe tomorrow?
