When I am back in a few days, I will open the door of my kiln and let me be surprised by the result. Another hundred for a restaurant – I have to finish them with different glazes and then they will take over the place in the kiln….Sunday evening is their time. All these coffee cups are hand thrown in different stoneware clays. Sometimes people ask if my work is suitable for the dishwasher: Yes, of course! When I was a student, I was working in restaurants and I know that this is an important point – sometimes, the life in the kitchens is quite stressful and it is not possible to wash the dishes by hand.
