May I introduce? My best work so far: Edition masterpiece, 2015. A tea bowl, handthrown in white porcelain. I was absolutely in love with it. Unfortumately, two years ago, this bowl was sold when I was not in my studio: It was a mistake because I never wanted to sold it. I am still sad when I think about. At least I have this picture: I normally have no problems to let go my work but this bowl was so special for me, I worked for hours on all the lines and I went to my limits and also to the limit of the material – some parts were so thin and they were not broken during the firing. It is after midnight here in Zurich and I should better sleep than dream of my coffee from tomorrow morning….two brown coffee cups of my tableware collection ‚pur‘ – cups, bowls, plates in different sizes and in four colors. Back to my roots : I am still working on the two very last tableware orders – a party for sixteen and another for ten – and at the same time I started working on new things for my upcoming exhibitions. Edition ‚masterpieces’ and porcelain at its best. This picture shows my favourite tea bowl, a simple white, pure and matte one.
