Dreaming? I am almost sold out again and I did not expect this. But I have prepared two more kilns with black porcelain works, so I will be able to show some new works in about three weeks. Thanks, big thanks to all the many visitors of the last weeks in my workshop as well as in my online gallery. I bow, I am overwhelmed – I did not expect this when I came to my mountain studio almost two months ago. It is more than great and it lets me continue on my own way. Even if drinking tea these days does not really help: Some new ones. Tea bowls in different sizes, shapes and glazes. Happy to present some new works as this jar and these bowls. All pieces are hand thrown from stoneware and coated with new mixed old glazes. These craquele glazes are more than twenty years in my hands: I created them for my first tableware collection that was my final thesis of my five years of training as a ceramist. Long time ago! In the meantime I adjusted the glaze mix slightly, but they still have that airy soft expression that I was looking for. These pieces are coated with the soft yellow glaze that looks like amber – and btw: The eyes of my cat Romeo have the same color🧡. A beauty in blue: Delicate tea bowl, hand thrown from stoneware and coated with my magical blue craquele glaze. Also the basic of this craquele glaze is more than twenty years in my hands: I created this blue and a brighter one for my first tableware collection, called ‚PUR’, that was my final thesis of my five years of training as a ceramist. As you already know, in the meantime I adjusted the glaze mix slightly, but it still have that airy soft expression that I was looking for. This small winter tea bowl is coated with the blue glaze. Love it! All the new pieces are shown in my Zurich based studio. The blue bowls are already sold, there are beautiful other bowls and jars a v a i l a b l e . Sunday. All tea bowls and most of the jars are sold – without one as a set: four tea bowls with a jar in terra – so I show you the beakers with the last jar. All pieces are hand thrown from stoneware. The beakers and the jar are coated with a light brown glaze that I love because the color reminds me of a mix between honey and chocolate….All my craquele glazes – blue, green, amber and brown – are more than twenty years in my hands: I created them for my first tableware collection that was my final thesis of my five years of training as a ceramist.
