And now the bowls are in their first firing – normally this act is without any risk and I am looking forward to glaze them all in about 48 hours. When I was in Vienna last Saturday, I bought some simple wooden spoons to complete the bowls. Porcelain plates, drying: It will be their last weekend in this condition – last week they will go into the kiln and I am very exciting how they will come out. Porcelain is a tricky material to work with but I love it. These plates are unglazed as all my black porcelain pieces and they will get a black thread.
