Back to white porcelain: Finally….. I am working on different white porcelain pieces – the last ones that I will produce in my ‚old‘ space. I have to trimm them at the weekend because I will make the bisquit firing before I move, and: As always, they need time to dry before they go into the kiln. Fortunately the one who will move into my old studio is so kind and will wait until the last bisquit has finished. A teabowl couple in porcelain, a wedding present: Also these two beautiful bowls have a very white and special outside, whitout any glaze. But I polished them several times so they get a kind of smouth, a soft powder finish, very tactile and tender. The bowls are both wheelthrown and high fired so they are hard and translucent.
